Intensives represent an approach to counseling designed to facilitate more significant progress within a condensed timeframe. In contrast to conventional weekly counseling, where approximately 25 sessions typically extend over roughly 25 weeks, our intensive program delivers an equivalent number of sessions in a focused five-day period.
Traditional counseling sessions can sometimes address peripheral matters, which may obscure the primary reasons for seeking assistance. This can inadvertently lead individuals to feel stagnant or believe their challenges are insurmountable, a perception that is frequently inaccurate. The limitations often reside within the structure of the conventional method itself.
Our intensive methodology is specifically structured to enable clients to identify and directly address the fundamental aspects of their difficulties, thereby fostering advancement through our specialized expertise and concentrated time commitment. We guide clients through a thorough five-phase process encompassing information gathering, analysis, personal and relational dynamic detoxification, rebuilding, and the development of a maintenance plan. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive array of experiential counseling methods to support our clients’ transformative journey.
Should you be interested in pursuing meaningful change, we invite you to explore our intensive options below for further information or to schedule a complimentary consultation to begin the process.

While we customize our programs for every person, couple, or family that attends in order to meet their specific needs, we regularly guide our intensive clients through the following process:
- Information Gathering – Obtaining all necessary information before pressing forward is critical to building towards success. This is the step where we get it all out on the table and seek to attain complete honesty and transparency.
- Analysis – Understanding dynamics, traumas, triggers, emotions, and belief systems are a vital part of our program and making sense of it all makes all the difference in the world. Knowing what, when, where, why and how things have transpired to bring you where you are at is essential.
- Personal/Relational Detox – It is very normal for our intensive clients to come to us with negative things in their lives and relationships that must be reframed and removed if true change is to happen. This phase gets rid of the old to make way for the new. We don’t want anything holding our clients back from where they are meant to be.
- Re-Building – This is the phase in which we begin to put back in positivity, trust, connection, and new tools and skills into our clients lives to help them move on and prepare them to reach their future goals.
- Maintenance Planning – We regularly witness incredible change with our clients, but never accomplish everything. More work is needed as none of us have fully arrived yet. In this phase, we create an maintenance plan and system of accountability to assist our clients in continuing on their new path for the long run.
There is nothing like freeing yourself from the pain of childhood memories. After 63 years, it finally happened for me. 30 years ago I did a lot of hard work on the memories, but it wasn’t enough. With the help at Rock Counseling, I am finally at peace. Thank you Jordan! I am forever grateful.”
